About Lorraine Cummings, MD, FACOG

Lorraine Cummings, MD, FACOG, earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She practiced in Asheville, NC, for 20 years before teaching at the WellSpan Ob/Gyn Residency Program, where she trained future physicians. Now returned to patient care, she is passionate about advancing women’s health through education and innovation, with a focus on hormonal treatments for PCOS and menopause. Dr. Cummings provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including treatment of fibroids and endometriosis, preventive exams, cancer screenings, and contraception counseling, and values building strong patient relationships. Dr. Cummings is accepting new patients.
