About Melissa Hernandez, MD

Dr. Melissa Hernandez earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and medical degree from West Virginia University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she cared for complex obstetric patients and performed gynecologic surgery in a high-acuity, high-volume program. Dr. Hernandez provides compassionate, evidence-based care grounded in trust, respect, and open communication. Her clinical interests include obstetrics, high-risk pregnancy, preventive women’s health, contraception, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, perinatal mental health, and robotic gynecologic surgery. Dr. Hernandez is accepting new patients.
